Automobile giant Honda is all set to introduce a new brand of vehicle called Insight. The proposed product is a small hybrid vehicle and it is expected to register unmatched market response. The concept version will formally be launched at the 2008 Paris International Auto Show that has been scheduled to begin from October 2.
The Honda Insight Hybrid has been designed with enough accommodation to seat five persons. The concept car will feature an entirely new design and style with much stress on luxury and facilities. The manufacturer of the car boasts that though the car will be a little smaller than the Civic Hybrid, it would be more luxurious than its counterpart.
The car costs Honda $20,000 approximately to be manufactured. Some of the excellent features that the vehicle boasts of includes a voice-control navigation system, cooled seats, one-touch operation on all four windows etc. The other features are satellite radio, high-intensity headlights among others. All these make this vehicle a car which is much in demand.
Meanwhile the third generation Honda City that is meant for the Asian Market is all set to make its appearance in this week. This vehicle marks a radical change from its Jazz hatchback sibling and is very different both in its exterior as well as interior design. While the Front Half looks similar to the next-generation Insight Hybrid though the rear half is more close in look the BMW's 3-series and with 1-series C-pillar and side profile.
The car will have a unique gimmick. This will be the fact that the panel on display to hold the CD player could be folded down to display a place where one could hide the ipod. With unique dashboard as well as door panels and seats that are one of its kind the car for sure will find many an admirer. Contrary to the Jazz the city has a rich feeling inside thanks to the difference in design of the alloy where’s.
The similar points between two cars are their safety equipment which are identical to the hatchback and which also have dual front airbags. The price of it is slightly lower than the Jazz model.
