Credit card holders can dispute their chargers with their creditors while debit card holder has to deal with bounced checks, and late payment.

The rise of phony ATMs also captures some of the latest theft tactics. These ATMs are located in unsecured locations such as parking lots and alleys. The same idea occurs with the skimming. Thieves can get access to the ATMs on eBay and placed them in areas which drive traffic.

Many banks offer to cover their losses, however, there maybe a charge. Banks may also increase the fees and charges in your account. Identity theft and stolen credit cards leads to decrease in business. With identify theft growing; creditors have been increasingly detailing the increase of secure technology.

There are several tips to secure your cards. Watch for unauthorized use of your card. Use the ATM that you trust. Prefer using an ATM that is attached to your bank. At the ATM machine, check the card slot, keyboard, and machine for signs of tampering. Check to see if there are security cameras install. Check to see if the cameras are suspicious. Next, avoid ATMs which are old with signs attached to them. Banks do not request customers to use a specific ATM. Make sure you secure your cards and cash. Make sure the transaction is complete. Keep all receipts from the machines. Cancel any requests that are not related to your transaction. Use your ATM safely. ATM
