Japan Airlines Based In Shinagawa Tokyo Declared Official Airline Of Tokyo Disneyland


Japan Airlines Corporation shortly called as JAL refers to the airline of Japan. It is regarded as the biggest airline operating in Asia. Japan Airlines has got its base in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan and carries out the operation of scheduled and non-scheduled services on international and domestic level.

Japan Airlines is also possessed with the biggest fleet of Boeing 747s nearly 74 in number. The JAL that carries out the flight to destination like Mexico City through Vancouver and Sao Paulo through New York City is regarded as one among the five Asian airlines that fly to Latin America.

The other four are Air China, Emirates Airline, Malaysia Airlines and Korean Air. JAL also has IATA's Operational Safety Audit in lieu of the safety practices adopted by it. Japan Airlines further purchased its first jet called as Douglas DC-8 in the year 1960. It also turned up with special flights for the Crown Prince of Japan as well as the Princess, for Pope John Paul II and for the Prime Ministers of Japan.

Japan Airlines went private in 1987 and the airlines namely All Nippon Airways and Japan Air System were allowed to enter into competition with JAL on domestic and international routes.
