Christian Cell Groups Assist Church Member In Spiritual Growth Shepherd

The term Christian Cell Groups denotes a set of followers of Christianity who gather to for mutual growth through spirituality. These types of religious groups can meet monthly or weekly or according to their own conveniences.

The chief objective of the Christian Cell Groups is instilling the sense of bonding among the members. These groups assist their members in attaining spiritual growth in a number of areas. They guide the members to ride over the temptations and sins and improve their soul’s bond with Christ. However, the priority areas of a cell group may vary from that of another.

As a matter of fact, the members of the Christian Cell Groups can meet to decide about any area of interest or activity. It would be wrong to assume that the activities of these meetings remain limited to Bible studying. While the members of a group can meet to develop a skill, some others can meet to discuss a hobby. On the contrary, some group members can meet to find a solution to any riddle and dispute.

In the terminology of the Christian Cell Groups, a cell group leader is called a Shepherd. For becoming a Shepherd one needs to be an ardent believer of Christianity with a penchant and expertise for imparting training to a group of people. A Shepherd looks after the spiritual well being and growth of the cell group members. However, it is not mandatory for a cell group leader to become a Shepherd to run and manage the group. He can also be known as a mentor or leader.

Among the other important people related with the Christian Cell Groups, the coach deserves a mention. However, the coach is not considered as a cell group member. He functions as the mentor of the Shepherd. His main responsibility is to provide support to the Shepherd and guide him in running and managing the group.

All Christian Cell Groups usually have a vision statement. It requires being straight forward and short. Additionally, it should reflect the core belief and goal of the group members. To prepare an ideal vision statement, the cell group members should sit together and discuss a way out. It is also imperative for the members to collaborate and set clear cut goals for the group. A church can also have cell groups so that communication with the God becomes easier. Christian Cell
