The Selection Guidelines For Your RC Monster Truggy And Stadium Trucks

Choosing your Rc Truck would be a vital decision especially when you would see that everyday a new company is cropping up with different options in scale and other upgrades. For this reason you have to consider several factors upon which you can base your decision of opting for a particular type of Rc truck. For example, your need to chase your dog or cat inside your house or to run the truck outdoor in some local race track are going to influence your decision to select a particular type of Rc truck.

The first and foremost thing that we need to consider is the size of the Rc Truck. The smallest of the Rc Trucks is the 1/36th scale. A typical example is the Micro-T Stadium Truck from Team Losi. This truck comes with a fully independent suspension, slipper clutch, gear differential and 3 speed transmission. It has a length of 4.5 inches, width of 3.5 inches and a 3- inch wheel base. You can run this car almost anywhere you like- may be on top of study tables!

The next size of the Rc Trucks is the 1/18th scale which normally measure 10.25- 10.75 inches in length, 8- 8.5 inches in breadth and 7- 7.5 inches of wheel base. These trucks are 4wd electric powered unlike the smaller ones which are 2wd electric powered. The small size of these Mini monster trucks does not restrict them from going anywhere and from even playing in the dirt.

The 1/10th scale Stadium Truck comes next when the ascending order of size is considered. This is 2wd and can be nitro or electric powered. In fact, both the power sources can get your truck a speed as high as 65mph. The overall length of these trucks is 16 - 17inches, the width varies between 12.25- 13.25 inches with the wheel base measuring 12.25 inches. These trucks are better known for portraying amazing speeds which are attributed to the running of a transmission and slipper clutch. After you learn controlling the wheelies, running these trucks would be a great fun.

But the 1/8th scale Rc trucks seem to have stolen all the popularity. This consists of the class called Truggy, a blend of Truck and Buggy and the Monster trucks. A Truggy took birth when Rc nitro powered trucks were combined with Monster Truck parts. These are characterized by longer suspension arms and bigger wheels. A buggy had its chassis modified by its manufacturers to convert it into a Truggy. A Truggy measures 22 inches in length, 17.25 inches in breadth and has a 14.5 inches of wheelbase. Although a Truggy is nitro powered but a time might soon come when we would have a Truggy that is electric powered.

A Monster Truck, a class of Rc Trucks is characterized by various types of chasses and suspensions. Previously, we used to find only nitro powered Monster trucks, but now, we can easily get access to electric powered Monster Trucks. Both the types have their own advantages and disadvantages although there is not much difference as far as speed is concerned. The Monster Trucks really define their names by measuring 24 inches in length, 18- 21.5 inches in width and 14- 15.5 inches in its wheelbase.

Well, this was all about that are readily available in the market. But if you are creative enough, do go for something that would be unique and which would define exactly what you wanted in your customization. rc trucks
