Immigrants Are Here To Strive For Success

When you eat in a restaurant, have you ever think about the employees behind the counters. Perhaps pass by a construction site, and realize that many immigrated just for the job.

What about your next door neighbor, or the man that delivers your newspaper. In the world of today, many of us are receiving benefits and services from those who are aliens. Those aliens are immigrants who serve us. Each individual has his or her own identity. They are more than just immigrants.

If one is an immigrant, he or she will always remain an immigrant. Think about all those around you, what they have done to contribute to your community, your welfare, and certainly your industry. Immigrants within any industry contribute greatly to the American welfare.

Immigrants play a major role in American industry. Let me take you into the restaurants. Upon entering the restaurants, who you see are waiters, and perhaps some waitresses who barely speaks any English. According to a restaurant magazine, about 18 million Americans work in restaurants. Well, many of them are immigrants. Now, in that case, being a waiter is a fine job, but think about the significant others.

In the back, we have immigrants that are just washing dishes for money. Some are even cleaning toilets and tables. Most importantly, immigrants work as employees and have multiple jobs that attributes to his or her daily live. Such immigrants provide services to many individuals to the United States.

To put the point in another way, immigrants work together to provide the services in people’s daily routines. These are the types of jobs in which recent immigrants appear to be concentrated in many of the largest industrial sectors in the United States: dishwashers, janitors and cleaners, low-skilled machine operators and factory hands, news-stand clerks. Immigrants represent most of the service workers, operators, and personal services. The role of immigrant workers in the service jobs runs against different trends. Immigrants provide the skills and talents that natives don’t have. Perhaps immigrants are more likely to take a job that natives don’t consider working as.

What about the illegal immigrants? Well, that’s not the point. Again, immigrants are immigrants. Each immigrant is unique in every way and can provide the best of his or her ability to help the industry in America. So my point is that, no matter if one is legal or illegal, he or she can contribute to this country. Immigrants. Immigration to the United States
