American Idol Top 10 Carly Smithson Kristy Lee And Amanda Overmeyer

The American Idol Top 10 is announced after public voting system. Many of the contestants were astounded by the results and prepare themselves accordingly to battle out the season. It began with a fight for avoiding elimination by Kristy lee and Amanda Overmeyer where Overmeyer lost the battle.

The four mentors of the American Idol Top 10 were revealed and Ryan Seacrest boldly announced the name of Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Neil Diamond. These four stupendous artists would be the soul behind the voice of the American Idol contestants. The contestants after the elimination are about to make a national tour. Carly Smithson, Kristy Lee and Amanda Overmeyer fought out the bottom three and also led to an argument with the judges talking about America’s decision.

The American Idol Top 10 started off with a group singing medley. Ryan Seacrest then discussed the song writing competition. The medley wasn’t like the last seasons, it was rather old school and there were some technical difficulties faced when Ramiele’s mike went off. That was not well accepted by the audience and the public. Later the results were announced and everyone was at the edge of their seats. The tension could be cut with a knife, the atmosphere was intense.

Then the American Idol Top 10 was announced with Brooke White being the first to be in the top 10. David Archuleta is also announced to be in the top 10. Carly Smithson discovers that she is in the bottom three. After that Michael Johns was called to the centre stage and his worries turned to joy when he was too announced to be in the top 10. After the short interval David Cook was revealed to be safe and he was overwhelmed with the feeling of reaching so far.

The American Idol Top 10 announcement then took a twist when Kristy Lee’s strongest performance of the season was led down when she was pushed to the bottom three. Jason Castro’s consistent performance put him in the top 10 which was highly anticipated. Despite of the cumbersome situation during the medley Ramiele Malubay was ecstatic to hear that he made it to the top 10. Syesha Mercado safely advanced to the top 10 leaving Chikezie and Overmeyer into the bottom three.

The last segment of the American Idol Top 10 was excruciating for the bottom three as they faced the final judgment. Syesha Mercado was already in the safe zone and that put the pressure on Chikezie and Overmeyer. Chikezie was delighted to hear that she was safe and Amanda Overmeyer was out.
