But In house Video Game Developers have more freedom than third party developers. They design the content of the game by themselves and the publisher is assured a great design. The interest of the publisher and the developer in this case has to coincide with one another. Most of the big developers of games sometimes are bankrupt and the only option left for them is to sell of their company to a publisher and become an In house developer.

Independent Video Game Developers are owned by a single publisher. Most of these developers even make and publish their own games hence keeping all the liberty. It is the most common form of game development today. Most of their products do not get recognition until many people play and talk about it.
