Stevie Singer Songwriter Grammy Award Winner For Album Rumours


Stephanie Lynn Stevie Nicks was born on May 26, 1948 and is a singer as well as song writer. She came into limelight for the work she carried out with Fleetwood Mac as well as a solo career that lead to the production of more than twenty Top 50 hits. She got as a result of her ethereal visual style as well as symbolic lyrics.

Stevie got the offer to become a part of Fleetwood Mac in the year 1975 after she was able to impress Mick Fleetwood with her song namely Frozen Love the literary and recording work of which she carried out with her boyfriend namely Lindsey Buckingham. She got the publicity at international level through the immense popularity for Rumours album belonging to Fleetwood Mac landed up in the year 1977. She initiated with her solo career in the year 1981 as accomapnied with Bella Donna and contributed to the production of even five additional solo studio albums.

She also got the nomination to the Grammy Awards seven times and was able to successfully get 1977 Grammy for Album of the Year for Rumours along with Fleetwood Mac. She also got induction to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. She was born to Jess and Barbara Nicks at Good Samaritan Hospital that was located in Phoenix, Arizona. She initially in her young age found it troublesome to go ahead with the pronounciation of her name Stephanie and hence chose to call herself as Stevie.

Stevie developed the passion for love through her mother and got singing lessons from her grandfather from the early age of four. When sixteen years old, she with the help of her first guitar Goya went ahead with the writing of her first song namely I've Loved and I've Lost, and I'm Sad But Not Blue. She also came in association with her initial band that was called as 'The Changing Times' at the time when she was studying at the Arcadia High School that is based in California.

Stevie initially met Lindsey Buckingham at the time of her senior years at Menlo Atherton High School. She as accomapnied with him did also joined the San Jose State University that is in Northern California and Nicks did her major in Speech Communication. She lead to the release of the album namely Bella Donna on July 27 1981, which managed to get to the third position on the Billboard Hot 100. Stevie
