Tina Fey Weekend Updates Hillary Clinton Episode Saturday Night Live

Writer, comedian and 30 Rock star Tina Fey is once again on the headlines for her dogged support of New York Senator Hillary Clinton on the show Saturday Night Live, and women are voting for Obama because talk show hostess Oprah Winfrey is asking them to, according to her views. But Feys statements have done little to inspire an already tired subject even as the Democrat from Illinois seems to have begun his unstoppable surge towards his party candidature.

Tina Fey Weekend Updates include her endorsement of Hillary Clinton in what was a forceful if unsurprising remark made on Saturday Night Live in the first episode of the show since the end of the writers strike. Fey has been quick to claim her earlier position in the show and is now cohosting the Weekend Update with her former colleague Amy Poehler.

Tina Fey Weekend Updates lambasted Obama and all his supporters and criticised many women for voting for him because Oprah Winfrey has shaped their opinions. Then she voiced her unorthodox line of support for Clinton. Hillary is a bitch, Fey said, Let me say something about that: Yeah, she is. And so I am I and so is this one, gesturing to Amy Poehler. Know what? Bitches get stuff done! Thats why Catholic schools use nuns as teachers and not priests. Those nuns are mean old clams, and they sleep on cots and are allowed to hit you. And at the end of the school year, you hated those bitches, but you knew the capital of Vermont.

Tina Fey Weekend Updates then urged voters to get on board the Hillary Clinton bandwagon and vote for her in the crucial Ohio and Texas Democratic primary elections. Bitch is the new black, Fey said to sum up her stand in the new racism versus sexism issue opened up by the Democratic polls.

Tina Fey Weekend Updates had an interesting take on the journey of feminists and women in the 21st century. And finally, in probably the most important women's news item there is, we have our first serious, female presidential candidate in Hillary Clinton. And yet, women have come so far as feminists that they don't feel obligated to vote for a candidate just because she's a woman. Women today feel perfectly free to make whatever choice Oprah tells them to, she railed.

Tina Fey Weekend Updates also featured an amusing guest appearance by Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee who invited laughs by overstaying his welcome at the news desk. The episode also hosted an Obama spoof, featuring a stony-faced Fred Armisen as Obama being worshipped by news anchors even as Poehler's Clinton endured silence and a lack of questions or interest from the reporters.

A partial transcript of the now famous Tina Fey Weekend Updates episode is available on The Reclusive Leftist while the whole segment may be watched at the NBC website by those interested. Tina Fey
