Internet Explorer 7 Proprietary Graphical Web Browser By Microsoft

In ripe 2006, Microsoft released Windows Internet Explorer 7, commonly condensed as IE7, a part of a long line of Internet Explorer versions. It is a proprietary graphical web browser for Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows Server 2008.It is can be available as a separate download via Windows Update for Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows Server 2003 with SP1 or SP2. Internet Explorer 7 can be downloaded directly from Microsoft's website. In 2007, the latest version for Windows XP was made available.

Microsoft has modified Internet Explorers engine and security framework, the browser is a stand-alone appliance, and thus incapable to operate as a file browser. On Windows Vista, Internet Explorer drives in a Protected Mode, running the browser in a security sandbox that has fails to make its way to the rest of the operating system or file system, except the Temporary Internet Files folder whereby newly discovered flaws in the browser allowed hackers to install software. Another additional feature of Internet Explorer 7 is the WinInet API.

The new-fangled version holds for IPv6, and takes care of hexadecimal literals in the IPv6 address. It also embraces improved support for Gzip and deflates compression. On October 8, 2007, Microsoft detached the Windows Genuine Advantage component from Internet Explorer 7 and opened it for all users of Windows.

Internet Explorer 7 bears some new features and changes. For security reasons, it need not to be integrated with the Windows Explorer shell.IE7 Protected Mode relies on the User Account Control technology. It supports internationalized domain names (IDN) along with tabbed browsing for competing web browsers and it incorporates new feature called Quick Tabs, which displays a thumbnail preview of opened tabs. It assists per-pixel alpha channel transparency in PNG images and an integrated feed reader is incorporated, so with the intention for users to read web feeds without a separate RSS reader.

A Page Zoom selector has been added to the bottom-right corner of the user interface and ClearType in Internet Explorer 7 can be enabled or disabled separately from the rest of the operating system. If navigation to the site is blocked by default, then it can only be accessed after the user explicitly confirms the navigation.Internet Explorer 7
