Pro Football Hall Of Fame Of NFL At Canton Ohio For Limiting Induction
National Football League has created the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, USA on 7th September, 1963 with 17 charter inductees. It is to be noted that till 2007, all the inductees, barring one exception of Billy Shaw of Buffalo Bills, played a part of their professional career in the NFL. The Chicago Bears has the largest number of persons in this Hall of Fame . Canton was chosen as the location because American Professional Football Association , which later became known as NFL, was from Canton and its community successfully lobbied for the same.
