She once went to the recording studio along with Sonny Bono and got a chance to sing as the original singer, supposed to sing the song did not turn up at the studio. Later on she got a few more chance to sing duets with Sonny. Their first duet song was Caesar and Cleo. Both of them went on to delivery several hit songs. Their first hit was in the year 1965. Their song I Got You Babe was a record breaker and an all time hit.
