Tina Fey snl was born on May 18, 1970 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. Her father Donald Fey was a writer and her mother Jeanne Fey used to work as a broker. Her father had a Scottish and German origin while her mother was a Greek lady. Fey is a writer along with that she also acts and is a comedian as well. Fey had done her schooling from Cardington Elementary School and then from Beverly Hills Middle School. In 1988 she completed her graduation from the Upper Darby High School.

Tina Fey snl's eccentric humor could be spotted when she was quite young. In fact Peter, her brother gives us an instance of it. This eccentric humor that she had inculcated was made clear through one of her drawings, which she had drawn when she was only seven years of age. The drawing showed people walking hand in hand while holding big blocks of cheese in their hands. Some programs she used to watch at quite an early age are Saturday Night Live, Young Frankenstein, The Honeymooners and Monty Python.

In 1992, Tina Fey snl completed her graduation from the University of Virginia. She had completed her graduation in B.A. (Drama). She now went to Chicago and soon managed to get a job there. From her job at YMCA she managed to realize that the way she managed stand-up comedy highlighted the unprofessional way of her work. She further learned the skills to better her acting skills. She also became a part of The Second City in 1994.

In 1997, Tina Fey snl started writing for NBC's Saturday Night Live. She managed to get this job with the help of Adam McKay, who was a head-writer. Fey in fact became the first female to become the head-writer for Saturday Night Live. On June 3, 2001 Fey married Jeff Richmond after she had dated him for seven long years. Fey had to take a maternity leave on September 2005. Alice Zenobia Richmond was born to her on September 10, 2005. During her absence her work was taken care of by Horation Sanz. Fey however rejoined form October 22, 2005.

The 30 Rock, a situational comedy, was developed by Tina Fey snl and she herself stars in it. 30 Rock has been produced together by Broadway Video and NBC. It is believed to reflect Fey's own journey at Saturday Night Live. The show was welcomed by everybody but the time slot of its airing was a big hurdle. This was later adjusted.
