Willow Creek Church Christian Community Offering Prayers To God

A number of people attend the weekly services of over a 100 ministries. The services vary from relevant church training and heart felt worship and constant prayer to god. At the Willow Creek Church, the community at large offers their daily prayer to God and enjoys being in the wider Christian community.

The Willow Creek Church dates back to the early 1970s, when a specific youth ministry rose up at the South Park Church by the Park Ridge. Willow Creek Church came into prominence, when contemporary music, drama and Bible teaching were intermingled with one anther. All the activities merged together and gave rise to the faith of Church reading before the believers, especially the school students.

A Palatine movie theater is the most prominent landmark at Willow Creek Church. The church was launched on 12th October, 1975 and later it had a total assemblage of 125 people and after about three years the total number of people went up to about 2000. Mostly it had standing –room-only crowds and the congregation of people took part in a rally in 1977. The rally of the congregation took place on a farmland in South Barrington.

The very first of the church congregation was held at the main auditorium in February in 1981, and the Willow Creek Church congregation has witnessed tremendous growth ever since. There were more than a hundred ministries that gave out lessons involving spiritual, physical and relational needs. In 1988, the church opened up its department of Education and to it a Saturday service was added.

The Saturday mass of the church was added to the Willow Creek Church. But the lack of space was a factor that was coming in between the daily sermons of the church. After sometime the property was multiplied and expanded to over 155 acres of Church land, for the daily events of the church.

An important thing to note about the Willow Creek church is that the church is an interdenominational church that has its door open for people from different backgrounds. The church has been set up on South Barrington on Algonquin Road. It lies just to the east of the Barrington Road in Illinois and there are special parking hours from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the evening.

The main reception area of the Willow Creek Church is the main reception area, which lies on the first floor of the staff building to the eastern side of the building. The building is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. in the morning to 5p.m. in the evening. The dock deliveries are done on the western dock on the Western end of the main building. Willow creek
