Our beautiful world has been basically divided into two types of entities- The Flora and the Fauna. Flora represents the plant kingdom while fauna represents the animal kingdom. The two kingdoms have been evenly distributed in all parts of the world. No matter on land or in water they are found everywhere. It is the evolution that has diversified into different areas of the globe. No matter whether they are ocean animals or land, they are part of the same kingdom. Same goes on with the plant kingdom.

In fact, if we dive deep down, we will find thousands of ocean animals swimming past us. May it be the crustaceans, whales, seals, sharks, fish, lobsters, crabs, plankton, jellyfish, and some others, they are found all around these huge water bodies. In fact, some scientists say that the variety of animals inside sea is more than those on lands. Another interesting fact that was revealed is the fact that we still have not been able to discover all the animal life forms that exists deep down the waters.

Now let us focus on those ocean animals that we are at least familiar with. We see almost all of these animals are either of the two vertebrates. They either belong to the class Pisces or are mammals. Pisces are a bit different from the mammals from the fact that they lay eggs and give birth to their young ones, while the latter do not lay eggs. Apart from these we also find reptiles and amphibians under the ocean waters. N short, the world under these water bodies is simply huge.

If we plunge deep into the world of these ocean animals, we find that they have created a wonderful ecosystem for themselves as well. They are Creatures living in waters do not have any need of interfering with the terrestrial world. So, in that case, they are a bit safer from humans and human generated problems than the ones living above the ground. Other than that, harsh climatic conditions like flood, earthquake, and draught have not had such a drastic influence on them as they have on us.

That is just the reason why, not many of those ocean animals have become extinct. In fact, apart from those who swim under the water there are also several of those who crawl on the floor. They are anemanies, sea cucumbers, snails, starfish, etc. They are of different shapes and sizes, quite unlike the normal figure that we see around us in our daily to daily life. Their color and body texture have influenced man to reach out for them.

However, all the ocean animals are not that harmless. Sharks, snakes, some species of whales have been threatening the life of those humans who have been sailing on the sea or diving below it for centuries. So, the water kingdom is not exactly a heavenly kingdom for us. However, the beauty and diversity of life forms in it have dragged us into it for ages. Ocean
