Ideal Gas Laws Involves Pressure Volume And Number Of Molecules

Education & Science >> Ideal Gas Laws Involves Pressure Volume And Number Of Molecules

Gas is a physical state of matter in which molecules are loosely bounded to each other and they move freely over an undefined volume. In comparison with solid and liquid, viscosity and density of gas is low. Ideal gas laws give a hypothetical concept of gas in which the volume occupied by the molecules is zero having no intermolecular forces.

 Median Number Probability Theory

Education & Science >> Median Number Probability Theory

In the theory based on probability and statistics, median can be defined as the middlemost number that divides the larger part of the sample, population or probability distribution from the smaller part. If the median number of a well defined number list is to be generated then after putting together all the observations in ascending order, the middle number is to be selected. If the number of observations result in being even then the median value will be the resultant mean of the two middle numbers that exists.

Mersenne Prime Number Consisting Of Thirteen Million Digits Discovered By UCLA Mathematicians

Education & Science >> Mersenne Prime Number Consisting Of Thirteen Million Digits Discovered By UCLA Mathematicians

A prime number consisting of thirteen million digits has been discovered by mathematicians at UCLA. This discovery has earned the mathematicians the eligibility for a prize worth $100, 000. The 46th known Mersenne Prime Number was discovered by the group of mathematicians on a network of seventy- five computers running Windows XP. The verification of the newly discovered Mersenne Prime number took place by means of a different computer system that was running an algorithm which was different than the previous system. The thirteen million digit prime number was discovered in the previous month.

Education & Science >> Isaac Newton Invented Laws Of Attraction Set Of Assumed Laws Confirmed By Laws Of Affinity

The laws of attraction refer to a set comprising of assumed laws or a catch phrase in the history of science. It finds application at the time of making discussions on the nature of bodies that are capable of attraction. There is a marked existence of an identified set of the laws of attraction was confirmed by the laws of affinity.

Charles Gas Law Constant Pressure Volume Of Given Mass Increase In Proportion To Temperature

Education & Science >> Charles Gas Law Constant Pressure Volume Of Given Mass Increase In Proportion To Temperature

Charles law is a gas law in Chemistry. Charles law states that at constant pressure, the volume of a given mass of an ideal gas increases or decreases in proportion to the increase or decrease of its temperature (in Kelvin).

Newtons Laws Of Motion Inertia Acceleration Reciprocal Actions

Education & Science >> Newtons Laws Of Motion Inertia Acceleration Reciprocal Actions

Sir Isaac Newton was a noted physicist, natural philosopher, alchemist and theologian of England. He was born in the year 1643. His pioneering work was the Philosophie Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which was published in 1687 and serves as the foundation for many branches of scientific research. It was this book in which he described his phenomenal theory about motion of articles. This theory is commonly known as Newtons Laws.

Boyles Laws Gas Pressure Volume Proportionate In Fixed Temperature

Education & Science >> Boyles Laws Gas Pressure Volume Proportionate In Fixed Temperature

Boyles Law states that for a fixed amount of gas kept at a fixed temperature, the pressure and volume of the gas are inversely proportional to each other. Robert Boyle was an Irish natural philosopher, chemist and physicist born in 1627 who undertook experiments to establish the relationship between pressure and volume of gases. Even though he largely followed the classical alchemy theories, he is often termed as the first modern chemist.
