Forensic Scientists Experts Finding Reasons Civil And Criminal Cases


The science that deals with the assertion of reasons of different happenings which are required by the court for the legal proceedings, both civil and criminal, is known as forensic science. The scientists who perform all these experiments with the help of various scientific tools are known as the Forensic Scientists.

The forensic scientists use different kinds of scientific tools and techniques for finding out the reasons for different happenings that may help the court to come to a conclusion about the case and give its verdict that has to be just. Tools like finger printing, carbon dating, biological characteristics of the body are some of the tolls and techniques that are used by the scientists that help them to decide the reasons for the incident happening.

The forensic scientists can be subdivided into the following categories- Criminalitics Scientists, Digital forensics experts, Forensic anthropologists, Forensic archaeologists, Forensic entomologists, Forensic geologists, Forensic meteorologists, Forensic odontologists, Forensic pathologists, Forensic psychologists, Forensic toxicologists, and general forensic scientists. All these categories of scientists have different core knowledge and are experts in their fields. Much experience is required in the field if one scientist aspires to be in the forensics.

Some of the Forensic scientists who are required for determination of unnatural death are Criminalitics Scientists, Forensic odontologists, Forensic pathologists, Forensic psychologists, Forensic toxicologists etc. they help the court to understand the exact reason why the victim had the untimely death. Within a crime lab, the Criminalistics scientists deal with the biological evidences, traces, impressions like fingerprints, firearms examinations called ballistics to determine criminal causes of death that help the court in criminal investigations.

The Forensic Odontologists are those Forensic scientists who deal with the structures of teeth. The Forensic pathologists are the scientists who determine the presence or absence of chemicals that should be present or should not have been present in the body of the dead. Forensic psychologists are the scientists who deal with the mind of a person and try to find out any criminalistic instinct in them. The Forensic toxicologists are having the work of determination of the effect of certain drugs and medicines on the body of a human.

The digital forensic scientists deal with the recovery of data from digital media using some proven methods and techniques. The forensic anthropologists are the people who deal with the study of skeletal structure and find out any anomaly in them. The forensic entomologists use their tools and techniques to know from the study of the insects from the surroundings of the body, the time of death and if the body had been relocated. The forensic geologists deal with the soil, mineral or petroleum evidence that is found on the body. Forensic science
