
Faith of the Heart is a song written by Diane Warren and sung by a number of artists. A re-worked version of the song titled Where My Heart Will Take Me formed the theme song of the popular television series Star Trek: Enterprise. Later a version of the song was performed by Russell Watson as the Athletes Theme at the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
The song Faith of the Heart was originally written by Diane Warren and recorded by famous English pop singer Rod Stewart. The song performed by Stewart appeared in the Academy Award nominated film Patch Adams in 1998 in which it reechoed the theme of having confidence in ones own beliefs. The film in fact went on to win an Oscar nomination for the Best Original Musical Score.
