To prepare one of the potato recipes named Whipped potatoes one requires 2 pounds of potatoes, cup of milk, ¼ cup butter, salt and pepper. Firstly the potatoes have to be completely peeled off and then the peeled potatoes must be placed in a saucepan. Now add water and salt as per the requirement. Leave the potatoes to boil for 15-20 minutes. Take another vessel and heat milk and butter. After the potatoes are tender pour the milk-butter mixture over the potatoes.

Cook the preparation on low heat in a saucepan and use a hand held mixer to break the potatoes. After the satisfactory result is obtained pour the pre-heated milk and butter. Now stir the content at high speed until a fluffy look is obtained. Make sure that from time to time you scrap the sides and bottom of the pan so that the dish is not stuck to the pan. This will prepare you a delicious form of potato recipes.

The next of the potato recipes on line is the Lyonnaise potato. The ingredients that are required to make this dish are 1 cup of chopped onion, 6 tablespoons of butter, 3 cups of cooked sliced potatoes, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper and chopped fresh parsley. First step towards cooking this item is to take a heavy skillet and put some butter onto it and cook it over low heat. Now take onions and sauté and stir it until golden brown.

Now add cooked sliced potatoes to the browned onions and keep on stirring the content for 3 to 4 minutes. Add salt and pepper to the whole preparation. Add the dish with the finely chopped parsley. Serve it hot and see the smile on the faces of the persons eating your cooked food. This kind of potato recipes preparation can cater to 6 persons.
