Free Science Fair Project Experiments From Natural Resources

There are various scientific experiments that can be done with common materials and objects that are used in daily life. These experiments are interesting and often fun filled apart from providing fresh knowledge and education for the kids and old alike. Free science fair projects are fun to do and loved by all and sundry.

We can try out some of these free science fair project or experiments at our home or school labs on our own and show them to the family and friends to prove natural phenomenon through scientific demonstrations. Often these experiments should follow scientific methods and can be done following specific steps. These steps include hypothesis, a project objective, the materials and equipments required and the final methods of the experiment process.

You should always choose to do the free science fair project that is simple yet interesting. We can start of with a simple experiment to demonstrate what effect salt can have if added to boiling water. The point to be proved here is that water boils at a higher temperature when salt is added to it. The materials needed are common salt and distilled water and a thermometer along with a spoon. The method should start with boiling the water on a gas stove. The temperature should be measured at the beginning and also at the highest mark. This will create a benchmark to be compared with at a later stage.

As the next step in this free science fair project is to add salt and measure the temperature of water once again. It will be seen when the salt was added bubbles start appearing and subsided after sometimes. It again reappeared after some more salt is added to the water. With the experiment it can be clearly shown that the boiling water attains a temperature of 212.9°F in the first phase but becomes 218.3°F when salt was added for the second time.

Another interesting experiment among the entire free science fair project that can be done is to make electricity from the fruits. This is one of the favorites with most students who are under 16 years. It is a simple demonstration to show how chemical reacts with fruits to convert it into a fruit battery and generate electricity. It is a simple experiment to prove the transformation.

The procedure involves an acid based fruit like a lemon and when the copper electrode is inserted into it the chemical reacts to generate electricity. This is the basic process by the batteries also are produced. The electricity thus produced from fruits may not be powerful but it explains the method of how electrical energy can be created from chemical energy. There is another common experiment among free science fair project that demonstrates how boiled beans can enhance the plants growth when planted again. Freesciencefairproject
