50th Annual Grammy Awards CBS Telecast From Staples Center

It was on February 10, 2008 that the 50th annual Grammy awards celebration was organized and held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center in California. This chief ceremony took the record of music from October1, 2006 to September 30, 2006 and the marked performance and achievement in the musical field were calculated and honored.

The celebration for the 50th annual Grammy awards were recorded and telecasted in the United States on CBS. Many of the awards distribution were done before telecasting of the show in the convention center of Los Angeles. This was broadcasted on XM satellite radio.

In the 50th annual Grammy awards Aretha Franklin was presented the award for Musicares person of the year two days prior of the original show. The stars participating in the 50th celebration of the awards were Fergie and John Legend contributed a duet performance followed by Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli who also added to the event by a duet performance. Other participants were Feist, Beyonce, Carrie Underwood, Aretha Franklin and Alicia Keys.

The presenters list of 50th annual Grammy awards included the names like Akon,Tony Bennett, Chris Brown, Cher, Fergie, John Legend, Natalie cole, Miley Cyris, Tom Hanks, Kid Rock, Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Bonnie Raitt etc.

The specialized category of awards in the 50th annual Grammy awards incorporated awards like Musicare person of the year presented to Aretha Franklin. The life time achievement award winners list occupant were Burt Bacharach, The Band, Doris Day, Max Roach, Cab Calloway, Itzhak Perlman and Earl Scruggs. The Trustees award winner delighted Clarence Avant, Jac Holzman, Willie Mitchell and the Technical Grammy award winners were John Eargle and Ampex corporation.

The Best new artist list carried the names of Feist, Ledisi, Paramore, Taylor Swift, Amy Winehouse.

The Producer of the year (classical) in 50th annual Grammy awards incorporated the names like Blanton Alspaugh, John Fraser, Marina A. Ledin, Victor Ledin, Judith Sherman and Robina G.Young. The non-classical field integrated Howard Benson, Joe Chiccarelli, Mike Elizondo, Mark Ronson and Timbaland.

The celebration of 50th annual Grammy awards also included My Grammy Moment in which the Grammy winners for four times did the 2008s special Grammy segment. Various instrumentalists would also perform on The Pretender. In this contest all had free participation except for those with Guitar, Drums or bass Guitar and the winner would be confronting the Foo Fighters during the 50th Grammy Awards.
