Two of the best racers in Indianapolis 500 in recent times have made their full time move to NASCAR this year. They joined the masses of open-wheel drivers. Three time winner Sam Hornish Jr. and this years winner Dario Franchitti are joining NASCAR full time. Recently, Indy 500 winner, Juan Pablo Montoya has left F1 racing to join NASCAR full time. Both Hornish and Franchitti will compete as rookies in the Nextel Cup this year.
