Singer Tillis Billboard Country Charts Mi Vida Loca

Born in 1957, Pam Tillis, better known as Singer Tillis is an actress and singer and also a songwriter. She had several hits during the 1960s and 1980s. A demo singer in Nashville, Tennessee, Tillis was signed to Warner Bros. Records in the year 1981. With a studio album being released in the 1980s, she later found work as a staff songwriter for Tree Publishing. By the end of 1991, she signed to Arista Records. With Don't tell me what to do she managed to reach the Top 5 on the Billboard country charts.

From1991 till date Singer Tillis has featured in over thirty singles on the U S Billboard country charts. The list includes her only Number One single in the year 1995 Mi Vida Loca. She has also released ten albums overall, with two gold certifications and with three platinum certificates She has also established her own label, Stellar Cat Records.

Singer Tillis made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry at the time when she was just eight years old. At the age of sixteen, she hurt herself in a severe car accident that required many years of surgical reconstruction. Throughout her studies, Tillis considered music to be her passion and dreamt to make her career in it. She was so adamant, that she was even ready to drop out of college to continue her musical career.

Singer Tillis was a strong willed and determined character. She recovered from her accident and got herself enrolled at the Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Here she formed her first band. She started in San Francisco, and then returned to Nashville as a demo singer. After five unsuccessful country single entries, Tillis decided to leave and became a staff songwriter with Tree Publishing in Nashville. Starting as a staff writer, Tillis moved her focus to contemporary country. Tillis began making regular appearances on The Nashville Network's Nashville Now, a show which was hosted by Ralph Emery.

In the year 1993, Singer Tillis won her first significant award from Country music, winning the CMA Awards Vocal Event of the Year alongside Radney Foster for their duet. In the year 1998 she featured in crossover episodes of Diagnosis Murder and Promised Land on the Columbia Broadcasting System.

Singer Tillis achieved thirteen top ten hits on the country music charts and in the year 1994, she was named the Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year. In 1999, she earned a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals. Tillis was rated amongst the 40 Greatest Women of Country Music in 2002.Pam Tillis
