A huge retractable stadium is scheduled to open in 2008 replacing the RCA Dome that was created in 1983 and was the home ground of NFL's Indianapolis Colts. The new stadium is presently under construction and will possess the largest retractable roof sports facility. The upcoming stadium will be known as Lucas Oil Stadium. RCA Dome will be demolished and beside the new stadium a high-rise hotel will be constructed.
