Born in 1934 on 9th December, Dame Judith Olivia Dench or Actress Judi as she is popularly known is a magnificent actress. She is also known as Dame Judi Dench. She has won a number of different awards in her life of which mention must be made of Academy Award and three-time BAFTA. Apart from these she has also won Golden Globe, Tony and six-time Laurence Olivier Award.

Actress Judi was born in York, North Yorkshire that is situated in England. Her mother, Eleanora Olave, was an Irish. Her father, Reginald Arthur Dench, was a doctor by profession. Her father met Mrs. Dench at the time he was studying medical at the Trinity College. Dench was elevated a Quaker.

Actress Judi used to stay at Tyldesley, which is situated in the Greater Manchester. Some of her noteworthy relatives include actor Jeffrey Dench, who was her elder brother. Her relations also include Emma Dench who was her niece. She was a Roman historian earlier at Birkbeck. She studied at the University of London after which went to Harvard University, in Cambridge, for her Master Of Arts.

At the age of thirteen, Actress Judi was admitted to The Mount School. In the year 1971, she was married to actor Michael Williams. 24th September 1972 was the date of birth of their beloved daughter Tara Cressida Williams.
