The Humanitarian Bowl is a major event in the bowling game series. This game series is in fact a post-season NCAA-sanctioned Division I FBS college football bowl game. Since 1997 this is a game that has been played annually at 30,000-seat Bronco Stadium. The stadium is located on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. At present the game has a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference and another team from the Western Athletic Conference.

The Liberty Bowl is an annually played football game between U.S. American college football teams, mainly played in December. The first bowl was played in 1959, since then it has been a tradition. The matches were sponsored by AXA Financial and were known as AXA Liberty Bowl in 1997 to 2003. Now it is called the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl.

The Capital One Bowl is being called by its current name since 2003. The bowl is being operated by Florida Citrus Sports, which is a non-profit organization that also organizes the Champs Sports Bowl and Florida Classic. Every year the bowl is scheduled to be held at 1 p.m. eastern on New Years Day, immediately before the Rose Bowl. Both the games are telecast on ABC.

The Fiesta Bowl is an annual college football played in the United States since 1971. Currently the game is played at the University of Phoenix Stadium at the Glendale, Arizona and is sponsored by Tostitos Tortilla chips, which is owned by Frito-Lays. In 1998, the game became part of the Bowl Championship Series.
