The final bowl game that is played for in the Annual Bowl Championship Series is known as the BCS National Championship. It is the most prestigious Championship title in the game of college football of the country. Previously, every Conference had their own bowl games that determined the champions in their respective associations. There was, however, no proper way to determine as to whom exactly was the best college team in a season. Initially, all the winners of the Conferences were declared the champions, but there was no way to find out the team that was superior among the rest of them.
