Mary Katharine Ham, an editor, blogger and columnist from Alexandria was born on 5th April in the year 1980. Her father Jon Ham also is an well known journalist and blogger used to work with The Herald-Sun as managing editor and now a vice president of the conservative John Locke Foundation. Earlier Jon worked with mainstream media as a sports and features reporter.

Mary Katharine Ham spent her childhood in Trinity Park in Durham in the Duke professor community, which makes her conservative in terms of primarily fiscal and security conscious. At the time of her teen she went for the first time to the courthouse on election night with her father but didnt think to pursue her career as a journalist.

Mary Katharine Ham started her schooling at inner-city public schools then she joined Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia and completed her bachelor degree in Newspaper Journalism and a minor in SEC Football Triumphalism in 2002. In her early 20s, she became a upcoming media star with her fascinating look and spectacular smile and got the invitation from CNN's blog party at a Washington nightspot on election night.

She started writing on her college newspaper and a small daily in Rockingham at North Carolina. At that time Mary Katharine Ham won two North Carolina Press Association awards, for features and sports columns. After graduation she began to work with Heritage Foundation as an editor of Insider Magazine and InsiderOnline.org. Afterwards she joined Townhall.com.

After her service for several years at Townhall.com as a columnist and associate editor in October 2005, Mary Katharine Ham started working with Salem team as editor. At the same time she has blogged at HughHewitt.com where she got the name of Rookie Blogger of the Year. She often memorizes her days in Durham, her college town where she spent most her youth days.

Mary Katharine Ham became Televisions Personality when she got the offer from Michelle Malkin's to guest-hosted Vent. Now, she also appears in Bill O'Reilly's weekly Fox News program named The O'Reilly Factor.
