Martin Luther King Jr. Timeline starts with his birth on the 15th of January in 1929. He was born to Martin Luther King Sr. and his wife Mrs. Martin Luther King. He was born in Georgia at their home at 501, Aubum Avenue, N.E., Atlanta. He completed his schooling from Brooker T. Washington High School and in 1944 and he joined Morehouse College at the tender age of fifteen.

Next, Martin Luther King Jr. Timeline completed his graduation from Morehouse College in 1948 and took admission in Crozer theological seminary. At the very young age of nineteen years, he was appointed to the Baptist ministry on the 25th of February. In 1951, King Jr. took admission in the graduate courses of Boston University. In 1953, King Jr. married Coretta Scott and settled in Montgomery in Alabama.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Timeline says that on the 5th of June 1955, King Jr. was conferred a doctorate of Philosophy in Systematic Theology by Boston University, at Boston in Massachusetts. The title of his work was A Comparison of God in The Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Wiseman. On 5th December of 1955, he is elected president of Montgomery Improvement Association and becomes official spokesperson for Rosa Parks boycott case.

In 1959, he visited India to study Mohandas Karamchand Gandhis principle of non-violence.He concentrated more on civil rights and moved to Atlanta to overlook Southern Christian Leadership Conference activities.
