Ronald L. Kovic popularly known as Ron Kovic is a anti-war activist, writer and veteran who got paralyzed in the war of Vietnam. He came in limelight after writing his autobiography Born on the Fourth of July. He was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin and brought up in Massapequa, New York. He had been a decorated U.S. Marine who had worked for two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. For his hard work and sincere devotion towards his work he was honored with prestigious Bronze Star Medal with V device which signified valor and the Purple Heart.
