The Iowa Caucus is an event in the election process of Iowa in which delegates are elected to the county convention by the permanent residents of Iowa, in the area of a caucus. Iowa has ninety-nine counties that in turn form ninety-nine conventions. The county conventions in turn select representatives for the Congressional District Convention and the State Convention.
