VH1 Rock Honors pay tribute to bands that have influenced the sound of rock music. They were first launched on May 31, 2006. In its first session, the ceremony had honored rock icons like Queen, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, and Kiss. The ceremony commenced with a performance by the Foo Fighters of the Queen classic Tie Your Mother Down. Later, after a biography of the Queen, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Dave Grohl, and Taylor Hawkins. Paul Rodgers performed The Show Must Go On, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions and Under Pressure.

City Stages Art and Music Festival
City stages is a three days arts and music festival which takes place in downtown Birmingham, Alabama in and around Linn Park. It is a family festival that is held from the June 15th to the 17th of 2007. It features 150 to 200 acts on anywhere, ranges from hip-hop to country from 9-11 stages.
