Heather Menzies Hollywood Actress

Heather Menzies also known as Heather Urich was born on 3rd December, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is an actress belonging to the Canadian origin and later shifted to California through Florida when she was 11 years old. Carrying the intention of attending an acting school she got herself admitted into the Falcon Studios University of Arts that is located in Hollywood.

Heather Menzies started with her role at the professional level at the early age of 13 starring in My Three Sons. Later she went ahead with the auditions for the character of Louisa Von Trapp in The Sound of Music and got success.

Heather Menzies got the opportunity to act under Julie Andrews in the movie namely Hawaii. She went abroad to perform in the Broadway play called as We Have Always Lived In The Castle accompanied by Shirley Knight as one of the other stars of the play.

The production of the movie initiated at the National Theatre that is located in Washington, DC and it also met with a full time run at the Ethel Barrymore Theater in New York City. Heather Menzies appeared as a guest in plenty of television programmes in the years of the1970s and 1980s.

Heather Menzies also worked on many television pilots as well as films to be aired on televisions like Tail Gunner Joe in which she starred with Peter Boyle and The James Dean Story along with Michael Brandon and Amy Irving. She also turned up in the famous Sssssss accompanied with Strother Martin and Dirk Benedict, in the well known series namely Logans Run she starred alongside Gregory Harrison. She also worked with Bradford Dillman in Pirhana.

In the August of 1973 Heather Menzies turned up nude in the issue of magazine called Playboy. She came in contact with her late husband Robert Urich during the shooting of Libbys Corned Beef Hash Commercial. She appeared as a guest celebrity along with Urich in S.W.A.T., Vega$ and Spenser For Hire and also in a theatrical movie namely Endangered Species.

Heather Menzies and her husband also worked as a couple in many theatrical productions among which was The Hasty Heart, the production of which was carried out at the Burt Reynolds Playhouse located in Jupiter, Florida. She was suffering from ovarian cancer and resides in Los Angeles accompanied with her three kids namely Ryan, Emily, and Allison. She is involved with the Urich Fund for Sarcoma Research that is situated at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Heather Menzies
