Dooleys father descent included German, Irish, Sioux Native America and English while her mother descent included Belgium, English and German. She was born in Grosse Pointe Michigan and she grew up in Glendale, Arizona as her family moved there while she was just six.

Taylor Dooley has received training in dance and acting classes from the Phoenix Theatres Performance Troop.
