James Robert Duggar was born on the 18th day of July in the year 1965. This former state legislature was born in Tontitown in Arkansas. He served as the Arkansas House of Representatives during a four year period, from 1999 to 2002. However, this is not the only reason that has made him so famous. The Duggars Family is more than James Duggar himself.
Naturally everyone would be very anxious to know what is so special about the Duggars Family. The reason is that James Duggar got married to Michelle on the 21th day of July in the year 1984. They had their first child after four years. Initially they took the help of birth control pills in order to regulate the timing of their childs birth. However, Michelle soon had a miscarriage after the birth of their first child. This was something that James and Michelle were not able to bear.
Actually, James and Michelle were very faithful to their religion. They considered the miscarriage to be a sin committed on their part. They felt grieved that they, in order to get their children at a perfect time, had taken the life of their own child. They went to the Church and asked God to bless them with as many children as He could so that they could love them properly. It seemed that God listened to the plea of the Duggars Family.
The next members of the Duggars Family were two twins Jana Marie and John-David who were born on the 12th day of January in the year 1990. From that day, till the year 2007, they have given birth to 13 more children making it a total of 17. They have 10 boys and 7 girls. Apart from the twins Jana and David, they also had another twins Jeddiah Robert and Jeremiah Robert. Jennifer, the youngest of the 17 children was born on the 2nd day of August.
This is just the reason why people know the Duggars Family so well. The family has been focused in many television documentary movies produced by the Discovery Channel. They have also featured in many TV shows in both the national and the international level. Besides they have also been interviewed in various News Channels like the Fox News Network and the CNN.
