Greyfield Inn In Georgia Cumberland Island
Greyfield was built in 1901 as a wedding gift from a mother to her daughter. Lucy Carnegie, wife of Thomas established it when her daughter Margaret got married to Oliver Ricketson. Greyfield, the residence of Ricketson was an extremely beautiful and comfortable place. The family of four members was looked after by forty staffs. In 1962, Lucy Ferguson granddaughter of Lucy and Tom along with her family opened Greyfield Inn. At the age of 90, in 1989 Miss Lucy expired but the family wholeheartedly continues to own and operate the inn.
