Canadian National Exhibition is the annual event that is held in Toronto, and is considered to be the fifth largest fair in Northern America.

Canandian National Exhibition is the largest fair of Canada, that celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2003. Reports suggest that abnnual attendance of this fair is 1.3 million. The fair is visited by mant tourists, mainly due to its wide variety of entertainment programs and events. There are several events organised, that includes entertainment options such as parades and shopping. Sports and working farms are also able to draw a large number of tourists every year. The three day air show is also one of the most popular attractions. Kids world is an attraction for the kids in this fair.

There are a number of programs that are included in the Canadian National Exhibition Some of the popular programs are Kiddie Midway, Junior & Senior Rising Star Youth Talent Competition, Horse Show and Human Cannonball. Food building and SportsZone is also popular among many people. The Garden Show, Ken Jen Petting Zoo, Doo Doo the Clown, costume characters, The Farm, rock sculptures and butter sculptures also form a major attraction for the tourists.

The Canadian National Exhibition has started as a late summer camp in Toronto, when the region was considered to be a major center of farming. The fair takes place in the eighteen summer days, that leads up to the Labor Day, that is celebrated in the first Monday of the month of September. The fair has undergone several ups and downs ever since it started. In the 1990s, there were deficits observed in the fair, but in the later years the popularity of the fair helped it to regain its popularity.

The history of the Canadian National Exhibition dates back to 1879, when the Toronto operators won and the first fair was held in a place that is now known as Exhibition Place. In the recent times the place extends from Gardiner Expressway, which is in the northern end, to Lakeshore Boulevard, at the southern end and from Strachan Avenue (east end), to the Dominion Gates (west end). The region now occupies 196.6 acres of land. When all parking areas are included the fair size increases to 260 acres.
