Six Flags Kentucky Park is one of the best amusement parks that is found all over the world. This park is situated in Louisville in the state of Kentucky. It is in fact the ninth park that is run under the Six Flags, which has the worlds largest chain of amusement parks in terms of properties held by it. This park was opened to the public on the 23rd day of May in the year 1987.
However, at that time, this park had a different name. It was named the Kentucky Kingdom. However, after ten years, the Theme park LLC, which was the initial organization running the park sold it to Premier Parks. This organization later bought the Six Flags brand, which at that time was under the Time Warner Inc. After buying the six flags, it started naming all its parks under this tag. As a result, the name of this park was also changed into the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom.
The Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has been a place of attraction since its very inception. The people were least bothered about what happened to its names and the governing bodies. They were more concerned with the entertainment that they got in this park. As a result, all these brand name changes have not bothered them at all. This park is famous for the number and the types of amusement rides that are found there. It has means of providing entertainment to all ages of people.
The Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has a lot of rides like The Starchaser, The Thunder Run, The Vampires, Roller Skater, T, Chang, Twisted Twins, Road Runner Express, Greezed Lightning and many more. In fact, the perk possesses as many as 37 rides that are found around the park at present. Out of which, they are basically classified as kids rides and adults rides according to the age that is suitable to get on the respective rides.
However, there have been some questions raised regarding the security issues that the authority of the Six Flag Kentucky Kingdom should provide for in case of various rides.
Not only have there been incidents of people falling of from different rides, but also incidents of animal attacks. This is something that the authority has to take care of in a more serious way. Proper amusement with better security measures is what the people expect from them.
