The name of the products included in the list is expected to undergo a voluntary recall on behalf of the company in charge of the distribution. The Consumer Product safety Commission has ever been aware of the quality of the toys that are used by the toddlers.

The Toy Recall List of The Consumer Product Safety Commission has been initiated following the death of a toddler in the year of 2006 as he swallowed the magnet that came loose out of a set of toy having magnet. The incident followed the recall of eighteen million toys of popular ranges by the leading company Mettle. In the following years of the incident, a special attention is given to the toys sold to the market.

The Toy Recall List that is published by the consumer Product Safety Association is applicable to the various toys that can be sold alone or as a part of a set. The toys are checked from the all nation wide market. It never depends upon the report of any injury as the steps taken by the commission in order to save the consumers from risk of injury. The list contains toys that can cause unreasonable hazards by posing electrical, chemical or mechanical problems.

The toys are included to the Toy Recall List if they contain lead or any dangerous element in there paint applied to them or can contain magnet. The consumers are instructed to immediately stop the use of those toys that are kept included in the recall list. The recall is initiated by the concerned company that works as the distributor of the particular toy. The consumers are requested to return those toys to the concerned company from where they are provided with vouchers.

The Toy Recall List is published recalling all the toys from the leading companies like Mettle or Fisher-Price. Most of these toys are imported from China and are distributed by these companies. As all the children love colorful toys, the color used in these toys generally contains excessive labels of lead that can have adverse health effects if ingested by toddlers.

Though there is a guideline for the manufacture of toys, in most of the cases it is violated. The guardians must be aware in order to save their children from health hazards caused by toys.
