Visigoth is a section of the Goths that segregated itself from the Ostrogoths. Along with the Ostrogoths, this tribe executed several raids on the upcoming Roman provinces during the period during the period of transition into the Early Medieval Period. The Goths were part of this migration, along with several other tribes including the Vandals, collectively referred to as barbarians by the Roman civilization.
