Jason Sehorn New York Giants Player


Jason Sehorn is an American football player in the National Football League. He was born on 15th April, 1971, in Sacramento, California, USA. He played at the cornerback and safety positions. He is currently serving as a NFL analyst. He resides in Teaneck, New Jersey at present.

Jason Sehorn was drawn towards spots and athletics right from his early days. He attended Mt. Shasta High School in Mt. Shasta, California and also played football for them. After his high school graduation, he got enrolled in Shasta College in Redding, California and continued to play for them.

Jason Sehorn later played for the University of Southern California before he was picked up by the New York Giants to play in the 2nd Round of 1994 NFL Draft. He was assigned the cornerback position and continued to play with the Giants at this position. As a result of his raising in Southern California, he was nicknamed as Hollywood by his Giant teammates, before they realized that he was brought up in trailer park. He was then nicknamed Species.

Jason Sehorn entered into a contract with St. Louis Rams after his release from the Giants. He played at the safety position with the Rams. He had a tremendous 1997 season playing at the safety position. He also suffered a bad knee injury which tore his medial collateral ligament in 1998. He again returned to play the next season but lacked the killing instinct and speed.

Jason Sehorns agreement with the Rams stood null as a result of his ill fitness and physical setbacks in the 2004 season. He remained off-field during 2004 season. In September 2005, Jason retired from the NFL as a result of a series of injuries and took over as NFL analyst and reporter.

Jason Sehorn has also appeared on various TV shows and posed in a number of TV ads. He modeled for 2 (x)ist underwear company for its briefs. He also played a firefighter in a single episode of NBC TV show called Third Watch. He proposed to his second wife Angie Harmon on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on 13th March 2000. He has also appeared in the episodes of the various TV series like Womens Murder Club, Play Through the Plain, Honor and many more.

Jason Sehorns full name is Jason Heath Sehorn. He initially married his college sweetheart, Whitney Casey, a former CNN reporter and currently the host of daytime talk show called Great Day Houston. Her father was a football player for the Atlanta Falcons. He later divorced and married, Angie Harmon. The couple has two daughters named Finley Faith Sehorn and Avery Grace Sehorn.
