
Trevor Blumas is a Canadian actor and musician, who has gained renown on the small screen and on the stage. He was originally born in the city of London in Ontario, Canada in the year 1984. He initiated his career with acting right from his early teens. Music has also been included in his career. He eventually became involved with the big screen and has been included in the caste of a few Hollywood movies.
Even though he completed his graduation from the AB Lucas Secondary School, Trevor's academic career has been largely overshadowed by his accomplishments as a performer. He is known to have attended the Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts. Having received ample guidance at that school in music, dance, drama and art, Trevor Blumas eventually embarked on his stage career. Performance was to become in the future the defining trajectory of his career, paving his way to fame.
Trevor Blumas started his career as an actor by joining the Original Kids Theatre Company based in Canada at London in Ontario. This gained him a number of opportunities to prove his talent, which he did in the stage productions of many renowned dramas including My Fair Lady, Annie Warebucks and Casey. At the young age of fifteen, he received his first nomination of official renown, that of Best Performance for a 1999 Young Artist Award.
He demonstrated his talent in the field of popular music as well, in his early teens. He is known to have joined a reggae band going by the name 'Staylefish'. His career as a member of this band was of short duration. However, he left his mark with a popular reggae composition, a ballad titled Hold On that was performed by this band. Trevor Blumas is presently a member of another band called 'What Ever Happened to Corduroy' as their lead voice. He has also worked on a solo album.
Prior to his big screen career in Hollywood, Trevor Blumas starred in a number of seasonal television productions. The 1999 Young Artist Award nomination was attributed to Stranger in Town, a small screen production. He received further nominations for his performance in Little Men and Twice in a Lifetime – both small screen productions.
His career in cinema includes a number of Hollywood blockbusters like the Walt Disney production of Ice Princess in the year 2005. He also appeared in Pink Floyd's The Wall. Independent movies like Fury have also included the name of Trevor Blumas in the cast.Big Bandit, as Trevor Blumas is known among his friends, is also sincere regarding his Canadian background. It is well known among his fans that a maple leaf is tattooed on his back to signify the same.
