Frances Longest River Beautiful Loire
With a length of more than 1000 km, Loire River is considered as Frances Longest River. Tappan Zee Bridge On Hudson River
The official name of the Tappan Zee Bridge is The Governor Malcolm Wilson Tappan Zee Bridge. The name of the bridge was derived from various origins. The Tappan Indian tribe lived in the region prior to colonialism. Then the Dutch lived in New York in the 1600s and they referred to the Hudson River as zee. Thus the name Tappan Zee Bridge, but in mid 1990s, the bridge was re-dedicated to Malcolm Wilson who had been the Governor of New York state in 1974 and 1975. Since then, the official name of the bridge has been The Governor Malcolm Wilson Tappan Zee Bridge.
