Pamela Smart Murder Convict

Pamela Smart is a woman who is convicted of murder. She was born in born August 16, 1967. It is believed that she ganged up with her 16-year-old lover, William Flynn, and his three friends to kill her 24-year-old husband, Gregory Smart, in Derry, New Hampshire. As a result of this crime this person basically is at the moment serving a life sentence for accomplice to first-degree murder and is also guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and witness tampering.

Pamela Smart was not always a killer and in fact she is a person who attended the high school at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. Pamela Smart, after she joined her job at Project Self-Esteem in Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, New Hampshire she met her co-conspirator Flynn. It is believed that she seduced the 16-year-old William Billy Flynn and threatening to leave him unless he killed her husband.

Pamela Smart thus has influenced the gullible teenager to commit the crime and he did so with the help of three friends on May 1, 1990. Smart however was caught and sentenced to a life term and basically her trial was widely watched and garnered considerable media attention. She has agreed before the court that if she had not had an affair with Flynn, Flynn would not have committed the crime.

Pamela Smart has been given a life sentence and though she could have been charged with capital murder, but the prosecution decided against it. Instead she has a life sentence with no possibility for parole. What makes her case significant is that she has been convicted in March 1991, largely as a result of the testimony of her conspirators and secretly-taped conversations with them.

Pamela Smart even in her years at prison this is a prisoner who has run to many problems like being beaten up by co inmates and having her scantily dressed pictures published in the magazine. However she has also spent her time tutoring other inmates and has completed two masters degrees, in literature and legal studies, which were paid for with private funds from Mercy College.
