Balto II: Wolf Quest was a sequel that was released in the year 2002. It is actually the second part of the animated movie Balto that was released in 1995. It is one of the greatest creations that the Universal Studios have ever made in all these years. The story revolves around Balto, a dog. It is a continuation of the same story that was featured in its previous part.
Balto II: Wolf Quest begins showing that by then Balto his living with his mate Jenna and has six children. Of the six puppies, five of them bore a similar look and appearances as their mother. However, one of them by the name of Aleu, did not show the same. She in fact looked like her father, who was a wolf hybrid dog. As a result, Aleu was always remained aloof from rest of her sibling. So Aleu lived separated from them, with her father.
When Balto tells Aleu the truth, the latter found it very hard to bear the fact and so in sadness she flees away in search of a new home. The movie Balto II: Wolf Quest now enters its main course, narrating Baltos experience while he goes out to find her. Balto however, was at that time in a quite disturbed state of mind as he was seeing various visions in his dreams. He did not know what message it was actually conveying.
The story of Balto II: Wolf Quest moved on showing Balto, in search for Aleu falls amidst the creatures that were haunting in his dreams. However, he soon realized that these supernatural elements were actually showing him a way. He followed that way and ultimately found Aleu, who by had realized that being a wolf hybrid dog was not something to be ashamed of. Thus, the two are happy to see each other again.
The movie Balto II: Wolf Quest then stresses on the supernatural effect. Aleu, determined to know who she was, follows the supernatural elements. They meet a starving pack of wolves. Seeing Balto and Aleu, Nava, realizes that they are going to be their next leader. However, Niju, a wolf of that pack plotted against Balto and Aleu in order to gain the leadership from them. Balto realized that it was not his place and leaves the pack, while Aleu finds her new home and stays with them.
