Authur Brown Voice Of Love Singer

He is one of the most talented musicians of all time who is known for his music style and glamour. What sets him apart from other people of his genre is his unique way of presentation of his song.

Rock and roll singer Arthur Brown is popular for his flashy and dramatic style which often included performing daring acts on stage like burning a metal helmet or appearing nude. In August 2007, Brown lost some of his hair to a fire that he had set on stage during a concert in Lewes, Sussex. Eventually his knack of setting fire on stage was seen as a surety by the organisers who demanded him to sign a bond with them unless he was sufficiently insured.

Arthur Brown was born on June 4, 1942. After studying Philosophy and Law at the University of London and the University of Reading, brown deviated to music. Initially he joined the London based R&B/Soul/Ska group, which later metamorphosized into The Foundations. However, later, Brown had left the group and formed his own band. He released his debut album, named after the band, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown in 1968, which became an instant hit. The album included his famous number Fire which had managed to gain the top position in the UK singles chart during that year. Other members of the band included Vincent Crane, Drachen Theaker and Nick Greenwood.

Arthur Brown however has his share of failures. His next three albums however, failed to garner the same response. As a solo artist, he sang songs for the album Tales of Mystery and Imagination by The Alan Parsons Project. He also appeared in The Who's rock opera movie Tommy as The Priest. In 1996, he came back to England from Texas and went on a musical sojourn with Rick Patten, and Stuart? And later with Tim Rose. Together with Stan Adler and Malcolm Mortimer, the band released the Tantric Lover album. However, the band failed to stick together for long.

In 2005, Arthur Brown again re-united with the surviving members of Kingdom Come (except Des Fisher) for a one-off concert at The Astoria in London and performed songs from their album Galactic Zoo Dossier. The music of Kingdom Come has often been compared to Hawkwind, with whom Brown did share a lot of associations.

In 2007, along with Nick Pynn, Arthur Brown released Voice of Love that included a number of original compositions. The album was released on the Côte Basque record label. He is one of the most successful musicians of the recent times and his work has received much applause among music lovers. Wikipedia
