
The best play caller Ive ever been around is what Bobby Petrino is often referred to by the head coach of Jacksonville Jaguars and Tom Coughlin. Not only Tom but also college football players refers to him as the best coach, a coach praised as an offensive mastermind. Thus Petrino was portrayed to the world as the offensive mastermind coach to the American football players.
Bobby Petrino started his sports specializing in football a long time back in his college. Since then rather than playing as a Football player he chose to coach and started his early career playing in the quarterback. Thereafter, he started his coaching there itself as a graduate assistant during the 1983 season. It was later in his life he headed as a coach for a team.
Bobby Petrino since then started his coaching career first at Weber State as a full time assistant in Division 1 as wide receivers and tight ends coach in 1987 and 1988. He then moved to University of Idaho in 1989 as a quarterback coach later on being promoted as an offensive coordinator. Taking a step up in the coaching ladder he became the quarterback coach in Arizona State.
In 1994, Bobby Petrino served both as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach in Nevada unless he moved to the state of Utah. He served there for three years as an offensive coordinator under John L. Smith. Later on he moved with the same designation to Louisville, Jacksonville Jaguars and Aubum within a span of six years unless he became the head coach in Louisville.
The turning point from an offensive coordinator and quarterback coach to a head coach was a football match in Louisville in 1998. In one of Bobby Petrinos season there, the Cardinals ranked top in Division 1-A in scoring and total offense. The team as well posted the biggest turnaround among 1-A football teams winning six more games in the 1997 season.
Bobby Petrino was always praised as the offensive mastermind. After five seasons serving as a college assistant and a head coach he signed a 10 year $ 25.5 million contract with Louisville as the head football coach. But later on in 2007 he moved to accept an offer in Atlanta Falcons unless he resigned to join the Arkansas Razorbacks on December 11, 2007.
Bernard Bobby Petrino was born on March 10, 1961 in Lewistown Montana. He is married to former Becky Schaff and is parents of four children. He grew up in Helena in Montana and did his graduation from Capital High in 1979. Later on in 1983, he graduated in math and physical education from his hometown college, Carroll College. He started his football career in Carroll College and continues till date to achieve the professional perfection.
