Recently as a part of WGN-T.V childrens programming retrospective in its Christmas classic slot it broadcasted the movie again on 24th &25th Dec, 2005 and 2006.

The voice of the characters was of the comedians Jimmy Durante-Narrator and Jackie Vernon-the main character. The show was directed by Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr. and written by Romeo Muller.
