December Nights Balboa Park San Diego
December Nights will be held at Balboa Park, San Diego on Friday, December 7, 2007 and Saturday, December 8, 2007. December Nights are the beginning of the festive season this time of the year. In 2007, December Nights will complete 30 years. The timing to celebrate is 5:00p.m to 10:00p.m on Friday and noon to 10:00p.m on Saturday. Museums in the park will remain open on both the evenings from 5 PM to 9 PM free of cost. Melodramatic and musical entertainment, dazzling lights and excellent food throughout the Park are of great attraction in this event.

Coronado Bridge San Diego Woman Threaten Suicide California Highway Patrol Negotiated
A woman was found on the San Diego Coronado
Bridge and threatened to
jump from the bridge right from 1:45 p.m. on 2nd December, 2008. The
authorities highlighted that the woman had been taken into custody in a safe
manner. The California Highway Patrol also stated that the bridge was closed for
nearly 3 1/2-hour for traffic from both the directions till the time the
officers were involved into negotiations with the lady. The reopening of the
bridge was done for the public after a span of twenty minutes.

June Sangchantr Dead In Lincoln Park
A dead body of a young woman was found in Lincoln Park, a jogging path in Chicago, early Friday morning. Stabbed on the chest by a knife, the victim has been recognized by the police and her identity has been revealed as June Sangchantr. The police investigation reports are yet to be submitted.
